The Pocatello Potato Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of Idaho’s favorite crop, bringing the community together for food, music, games, and hands-on activities.
Hosted at Museum of Clean and presented by Simplot, Saturday, ( August 22nd – 4:00 – 9:00 PM) the event features live entertainment, a beer garden, a Potato Derby, and of course, free French fries.
Designed to be both fun and educational, the festival supports local families and sparks curiosity through creative, potato-themed experiences.
4:00 – 5:30 PM – Druids Heathens & Saints
6:00 – 9:00 PM – The Pickpocket Blue Grass
This event is completely free. Our sponsors make this possible by their generous donations.
Prepare with water, sunscreen, and hats! While there are places to relax, this is an event being held in a parking lot. Also, come hungry because there are food trucks, drinks and free french fries from Simplot!
